Growing up in different cultures and countries around the world, I’ve always wanted a role that enables me to continue this. After working in events and hospitality I found my flair for uniting people with a shared interest and passion. Being able to see first-hand the impact of my work, on the business and people, was something I find extremely rewarding.
Growing up in Speyside I have always been passionate about whisky and knew it was an industry I would love to work in in the future. Something I learned during the training is that everyone is so different and there is no certain type of person for this job – I think a key part of the role is being true to yourself and making it your own. I am an outgoing and confident person – but I also love problem solving and being creative which is why I’m so excited to be working in the Ballantine’s global marketing team.
